is it just the weather?..

coz the nights are getting kind of fuzzy and lazy..the hot and humid weather making me so dizzy, i just feel like sipping ice cold beer, puff on a cigar and have kenny chesney play in the background..just like the good old days on the bayou..

another date..??

aiyoh..you left me hanging few times already previously. i have been waiting patiently at the restaurant waiting for you to show up but so far you have failed. the last time, i had to watch a movie all by myself after i had bought a ticket for you too. the drama was so exciting but the ending was an anti-climax, i had expected an explosive ending. still i had to watch it alone. this time you called me again to make another date. you say, this time, for sure one. sure you gonna show up and take me all the way...so again, like a good friend that i am, i shall wait patiently for december 8 to come. i shall put on my best clothing, spray on my nicest eau de toilette and wait for you. hopefully this time, there will be fireworks...

should i..shouldn't i...??

dropped by to look at my new condo in sri kembangan yesterday. NICE..really really nice...BUT...it's so far away from where i work. well, it's not exactly ready yet but about 75% completed. spent half an hour lounging around in the show unit. felt like home to me...could have taken a nap right there and then..haha

so now..the question is, should i move there or sell it off or maybe rent it out..?? so, maybe someone can tell me what i should do..i can make about 100K profit if i hawk it off when it's completed next year, or i could move there and enjoy the place and pay daily toll and petrol to get to work everyday..!! saw the model of the clubhouse...wah, very nice leh..big big swimming pool and with a restaurant, badminton and tennis courts !! (some more got name one ah..to be called the Bayan Club, wah...sounds very exclusive..hehe)...my unit comes with a skylight and private lift plus two covered carparks...and just down the road, there's a jaya jusco shopping centre...fooiyoh, if only i work in sri kembangan...

my new babies..

just added these two gadgets to my collections..so happy ah...
i know, i know..you gonna say, hey, this phone so outdated already but looking at the specifications, it's really still quite technologically advanced, and plus i like the RAZR slim feel..and it came at a very good price (RM520 for a new set - not bad eh..?)..so who says nice things have to be expensive? you just have to wait a little while for the price to drop..haha


This other gadget has been keeping me busy night after night. i am developing dark rings around my eyes from staying up late playing virtual tennis !! don't really care too much about the music or wifi functions on this PSP but the games ROCK..!! i just have to connect it to my mini boom-box speakers and i'd have the courts of Wimbledon in my room..woohoo!!

got a total of 14 games installed on my 8Gs...so this baby will keep me occupied for a while..

talk about good food..

had dinner with a friend yesterday at this place in PJ, a Taiwanese restaurant in SS2..talk about great food. this place has maintained its excellent servings for as long as i can remember..and the last time i went there must have been like 10 years ago. the people working there are still the same, the lady owner/chef still works the kitchen and then comes out to greet and inquire of her customers, all the waiters and waitresses are still the same except they have grown a bit older and a lot more fatter and they remember you (which is nice..they even remember your favorite dishes !!)..and the business there is still very very good. in fact, we had to wait for a while to get a table, and that too, we had to squeeze ourselves in between other tables..

the best part is, the prices have somewhat remained the same..talk about good value for money..i spent RM47 for the 3 dishes you see here (pics), quite huge portions too for 2 persons..

top on my list of the really nice dishes are their
1) butter prawns (they use cili-padi with lots of curry leaves) - i tell you, you've never tasted butter prawns until you tried theirs..
2) sesame fried chicken (pic top - can also substitute with sotong) it's so crispy, you could just eat the crumbs..
3) szechuan fried string beans (pic right) - never thought string beans could taste so nice..
4) pan-fried oyster omelette...very different this one, not our usual "orr-chien" style..
