I'm in heaven...

potato heaven that is...hehe

was walking around as usual.. sort of feeling lost in the crowd as usual, at sunway summit yesterday and suddenly decided to walk into cold storage supermarket, for no reason...then, out of the blue, wah, they just stood out on the shelf and called right out to me.."buy me, buy me"..and of course i could not resist lah..

these are not just any ordinary potato chips, mind you...they are kettle-fried potato chips..!! a bit pricey but hey, they are imported, so have to pay for good stuff lor..and i tell you hor, the look of the chips themselves would make you think that they were so very carefully, fried, probably piece by piece and the taste is so exquisitely refined (i know i know..not exactly the kind of word one would use to describe food other than french cuisine), so fantastically thick and crunchy, and i mean you can hear the "krok-krok" sound as you munch on them. these chips have been lightly salted so that you get the real taste of Idaho (i think..) potato and not overwhelmed by all the seasoning so rampantly abused in our kerepek ubi kentang..

you must try it. take it from a real "chip" enthusiast..it is good, trust me, really really good..be careful though, you may not stop at one..and while you are at it, here's a music video to put you in heaven too..
